Salon System's Luxury Pedicure course is suitable for beginners and for those looking to update their skills. This course will enable you to carry out a luxurious and pampering pedicure treatment. It covers basic pedicure techniques, luxury ‘spa’ pedicures and paraffin wax treatments.
Course Criteria:
- Salon hygiene, sanitation / health and safety
- Client consultation, contra-indications and client care
- Structure of the nail, basic anatom / physiology of the foot and leg
- Nail diseases and disorders
- Pedicure basics - nail shaping, cuticle work, polish application
- Foot and leg massage techniques
- Paraffin wax treatment
- Salon System product knowledge
- Promotion and marketing of your new skill
Assessment:
Verbal and written assessments are undertaken during the course to confirm students understanding.
Certificate / Insurance
A certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the course. Once you have completed your training we recommend that you obtain public liability insurance. There are several companies that will insure you against our certificates.
